Arizona Artist Marquel Deljuan releases the first single “BILLS” from the father-son album, “Don’t Listen” which serves as the soundtrack to film “The System” , written and directed by Iroc Daniels that exposes layers of corruption and racial tension within the political, judicial and prison systems.

Vastly different lives and perspectives become intertwined after a police officer suffering from recurring PTSD mistakenly shoots a deaf African-American kid, exposing layers of racial tension and corruption within the political, judicial and prison system. After the system fails to bring justice to Sam Lynch (Owen Conway), the PTSD stricken police officer who killed his son, Nate Wesley (Reginald Kennedy) contemplates taking matters into his own hands.
His decision leads to a climax that will change the lives of everyone involved forever. Directed and written by Irin Daniels, The System provides a thought-provoking multilayer landscape that touches on themes such as corruption, racism, and prejudice while exploring the intricate and complicated perspectives from both sides of these issues.
