Logic, the Maryland-based, Grammy-nominated rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer, has just released “College Park” – his eighth studio album and first as an independent artist via BMG. The project features notable guests such as Norah Jones, Seth Macfarlane, Joey Badass, RZA, Statik Selectah, Redman, Fat Trel, and Bun B.

Before the launch, Logic dropped several singles: “Wake Up,” “Paradise II.,” “Lightsabers,” and “High Life.” and an accompanying Kevin Smith-directed music video featuring the cast of the cult classic film Clerks.

Speaking to SiriusXM on the inspiration for the album, Logic said: “It’s a day in a life with me and my best friends. My boy C Dot Castro, who’s a fellow rapper, who’s all over the album. Big Lenbo, who let me stay in his basement in College Park when I was homeless and didn’t have anywhere to go, who I wouldn’t be here today. And then, of course, 6ix, my in-house producer.”
